Gretchen Perkins is thrilled to be back playing with “Sing In the New Year®” again this holiday season. She loved being a part of Operatunity Theatre’s inaugural concert this summer.
Gretchen holds a degree in piano performance from Augustana University, studying with J. Earl Lee, and is a student in the masters program at University of St. Thomas, where she studies with Vanessa Cornett. She is in her eighth year as fine arts assistant at Minnehaha Academy, where she is the pianist for all vocal choirs and instrumental ensembles at their Upper School.
Gretchen is an active collaborative pianist in the Twin Cities, and is the accompanist on staff with the Valley Chamber Chorale. She is in demand as an instructor and teaches and coaches a full studio at Yellow House Studio in Stillwater.
