Soprano, Anna Mandina, recently made her mainstage debut as Liù in Sarasota Opera’s Diamond Anniversary production of Turandot. This past summer, Anna performed the role of Micaëla in Carmen with the Missouri Symphony.
Anna has performed with Sarasota Opera, Opera Maine, Opera Company of Middlebury, Boston Conservatory Opera, and Seagle Music Colony. Other roles include Countess Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Violetta Valéry (La traviata), Eva Crowley (An American Dream), Anne Trulove (The Rake’s Progress), Susannah Polk (Susannah), Lady Billows (Albert Herring), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), and Hanna Glawari (The Merry Widow).
Next year, Anna is thrilled to return to Sarasota Opera where she will sing Mimì in 13 performances of Puccini’s La bohème.
